Randolph Frederick Pausch ... The last lesson

Randolph Frederick Pausch
(born October 23, 1960, died July 25, 2008) was a professor of computer science, human-computer interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU ) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He was also an author with a high number of sales on their books, achieving worldwide fame for his work "The Last Lecture" speech he gave on September 18, 2007 at Carnegie Mellon University. In August 2006, Pausch was diagnosed with metastasized pancreatic cancer. He started a very aggressive treatment for cancer that included surgery and experimental chemotherapy, but in August 2007, he was told the cancer had metastasized to the liver and spleen, which meant it was terminal. He then started palliative chemotherapy, to prolong his life trying everything possible. On May 2, 2008, a PET scan showed that his cancer had spread to his lungs, some lymph nodes in the chest and metastases in the peritoneum and retroperitoneum. On June 26, 2008, Pausch said he was considering stopping further chemotherapy because of potential adverse side effects. On July 25, 2008 died of pancreatic cancer.

The trigram wind (Cai) represents the Chinese concept of the wood.
The wind is what sets in motion the nature, fertilize, seed and giving life moving. So it is associated with the color green buds plantas.Es a dynamic force that expressed in medical terms, it makes people get moving and make things. It was thanks to the liver, muscles were able to stay strong and movements were made with synchronicity. It was thought that the body administering the body's energies. Modern physiology studies confirm that, indeed, the liver is responsible absorption of glycogen and this acts as fuel for muscles. Without this substance, our forces would fall and we would invade a great state of weakness and exhaustion.
The Nei Ching, the classic book of internal medicine of China, corresponding to the time of the Yellow Emperor, refers to the liver as a partner with the eyes, with the ability to see at night and collect all five colors.
The liver is associated with the ability to capture light. The rods and cones, the eye bodies perceive the image and project to the cerebral cortex, require large amounts of vitamin A, otherwise the person with vitamin A deficiency may be suffering ceguera.A the vesicle pool is awarded in addition to bile secretory function, a psychological type. Presentation

know a very curious thing, in genetics is known that the environment exerts a regulation or potential regulation of the expression of different genes, this is called genetic epigenetic regulation, now I suggest you change the terms, first, the environment in the Chinese theories, is only the macro-universe, ie everything that happens outside of our organization, and we ourselves are one universe but in this case less, ie micro-universe, the theory states that China our micro-universe is ultimately dominated by an energy-Qi Yuan will call now that is based on the Jing and later explain in great detail and so very thrifty, well that Jing could be "these genes", and ultimately the environment by epigenetic regulation can affect or regulate it, if this is so, and we believe that it is the foundation of this manual is to deepen this syllogism.
know one more thing in this case utilized during ratites experiment [1] , rats have two behaviors when dealing with their young mothers in this case would be the environment, a little rats lick and groom to puppies, others instead arch their backs, know from recent studies that these behaviors cause more or less methylation of the promoter region of the receptor gene glucocorticoids, namely that "acts on the JING" of these puppies, pups that were licked showed a demethylated promoter region and those that were not licked and groomed showed the same methylated region, this is very important as this may affect in behavior to the rest of the life of the mouse, ie on their Shen, do not believe that it is therefore important to delve into this fascinating world of macro and micro universe, environment and jing, jing and shen.

The Psiconeuroacupuntura [i] is a science that aims to study the Shen [2] .
As any science that is dedicated to this purpose, has its various theoretical postulates described in a parsimonious in its various treaties, however, we can say that psiconeuroacupuntura has a central pillar in the treatment based on your formulas acupuncture, phyto-therapeutic and verbal advice, that is what is studied when addressing Shen disorders, although in this manual add an appendix devoted to the explanation that the Psiconeuroacupuntura (PNA) did not see more than add a metaphor to explain a bit more this new science, so we turn to the metaphor [3] of eyeglasses. I'll summarize
who understands the PNA as Shen, I always with my students use the metaphor of the pot, but in this case for not repeating myself, in this manual will use the metaphor of the glasses. Imagine
optometrist glasses, we'd all about that in this case would be the brain, ie in the case of the metaphor used to represent brain structure, we know that everyone has one, a part of the brain have their duties are in principle no are the same, but not here in vain to discuss these details, these functions are divided into three parts or components in a highly summarized PNA could say that we have decomposed Shen;
five emotions,
five traits and five cognitions
,
Now imagine that each emotion is a mirror of one color, like we do with the traits and cognitions Well, the conjunction of all the crystals together create a clear vision and clear, that is if we put the red, then green, gray, and to five, all together the vision through them would be crisp and clear, but ... in most subjects, this is not just that, rather they have some color with varying intensity, it affects a whole, which is the Shen and the vision is murky then. PNA
So what we do is investigate using its own procedures that crystals are in harmony with others and with different formulas acupuncture, speech and try to balance phytotherapeutic, y. .. and this is innovative therapies help specific to each element (wood, fire, earth ...).
With this we can treat or deal with most psychological ailments of most of our patients, as you read I said "almost" because there is a group of diseases that we can not treat in a manner as effective as we wanted.
And, this manual attempts to improve this deficiency, I mean, there are two areas in which the PNA "no" is very effective for obvious reasons.
The first is when the brain tissue is injured, for example, aphasia from stroke, tumor, or developmental disorders that affect the parenquina, and
Second, when there is a genetic disorder that affects directly or indirectly on the same brain parenchyma, and is on the Shen.
is the latter which is designed for the book that you have at hand, but I must say that this book is focused to those who practice Piconeuroacupuntura can serve equally in any therapeutic approach in China and homeopathic medicine, benchmark it would be absurd just to Shen and PNA, in fact would be of greater benefit if the reader with the conclusions drawn here can use these techniques in all fields of medicine, as later you will see, what happens is that I focused on the "shen" for being my specialty. And finally, say that even if not in this manual where you tackle brain injury harmful reasons, stroke, trauma, etc ... in Psiconeuroacupuntura have the "brain Psiconeuroacupuntura" which seeks to address brain disorders cranial acupuncture combining classical, with the most current neuroscience toe treatment technology of the moment, if you are interested reader will refer to the book, Cerebral Psiconeuroacupuntura. "
[1] Weaver, R, C, G et al (2004), "epigeneticism programming by maternal behavior". Nature Neurosciences, 847-854.
[2] The Shen is a very abstract concept that psiconeuroacupuntura studied in depth, and is just the definition we give in this discipline that interests us. For now serves shen comparison with self as the Western view, but for us it is much more.
[3] This metaphor is used to describe the convergence theory of Shen.

Ladies Ytailors In Bangalore

The European Agriculture Powerful

Very good documentary that will awaken consciences. This documentary tells of the effects of farm subsidies in Europe. We can see these devastating effects in relation with producers from various countries like the Dominican Republic, South Africa and Ghana.

economic prescriptions of the IMF conditions for these countries to the opening of trade borders to receive financial aid that comes from the World Bank.
Since rich countries spend millions of euros in order to undertake education campaigns to producers to produce more and more competitive, while their markets are flooded with European products that are sold at a lower cost than the cost of production through subsidies. Given this, among other tariff measures, producers in poor countries are unable to compete with large industries with their starving cows and primitive tools, while living in poverty.

While in Europe, where they have to destroy tons of surplus production. An amount that you can not give out even with the flood of these products to the markets of poor countries open to move this problem of overproduction.

With this, it is paradoxical to observe the undoubtedly making a kind of defense system, a "Soviet economy" planned by the champions of capitalism, free trade and devotees of the "invisible hand" that Adam Smith told us in his Wealth of Nations.
But what if these champions of economic liberalism gave them an orthodox way to apply his doctrine?. I would like to appear apocalyptic in my personal view, but judging from the movements observed at several attempts a greater opening of the European countries as the example shown in the documentary, the expectations would not be very alagüeñas.

Looking back at the past, we can observe that revolutions are not carried out by people who live badly, but by people who happen to live poorly, and although history never repeats if it is true that humanity is a logical pattern of transformation to an adverse situation.
In the industrial world is becoming increasingly seeing the phenomenon of offshoring, declining quality in employment contracts ... but what would happen if we let the "invisible hand" to make regulatory adjustments market?, what happened if we now live in a privileged position compared to poor countries we had to change roles could not compete with products whose price would be much lower than those produced the rich countries?, would we be able to adapt to a new reality of capitalism Orthodox?. Norberg
authors as probably change their attitude to be in another frame of mind if globalization, now joy of some and nightmare for others, should be equal for everyone. In this case, is this economic system would be sustainable?.

Another phenomenon referred to in the documentary is the phenomenon of upward migration is directly related to the fall in living standards in poor countries.
retaining walls, both physical and political, grow to a lesser extent the flood of people in search of the European dream.
This is becoming a growing problem, labor becomes cheaper, increased unemployment, Further support is needed are social, and worst, falling incomes of the population base that sustains the economy while production is increasing, but what happens when the purchasing power of the base is insufficient to support the economy ?, what if there comes a time when we can not consume the necessary level?.
These phenomena are a reality that manifests itself gradually, but from the highest levels is observed with satisfaction how well underway macroeconomics.

Why Do Wrestlers Smell

Transgenic Food, What's at stake

Maybe some do not even know what a GM food, others know only a little and some know more about them. But very few know what is at stake to give rise to genetically modified foods in the life of each individual and that of those around us.

This video only gives a general idea of \u200b\u200bwhat we put at risk the lives nuesras accept this kind of food ...

This issue is deeper than it seems and some would have us believe that there is no worry. Let's take a look at the video and reflect about it, because this type of food, among others, have a negative impact on various aspects of human development. Let us draw our own conclusions.

New Free Beautiful Agony

The Future of Food

Through the years and centuries have evolved food and have been modified but natural to become more resistant or to suit the environment in which they develop. So did our ancestors. And a concrete example is that of the Incas of ancient Peru, with the domestication of the potato, which brought much good to humanity.

Unfortunately, financial issues and vested interests, the genetically modified foods are artificially supported by transnational corporations and the support of countries "first world." This genetic modification is contributing to these foods also called "transgenic" are the cause of many diseases current and that did not exist in decades or centuries. But the problem is not there as this will defeat the whole chain of society because GM seeds are sterile and poor farmers are tied to always buy SEMIL to these companies. And worst of all, with cross-pollination of organic crops are harmed because they spoil their plantations and these companies claim these crops as their own, based on gene patents.

This video shows a didactic way what is happening in the world today on this issue and leaves us with something very important to reflect. It also gives a livelihood to opt for something alternative to what the modern world offers us. The decision is in our hands.

You decide!

Cute Pjs To Wear To A Party

Zhineng Qigong tai chi chuan style

Zhineng
What is Qigong
is the first system of Qigong Science recognized as a major sector of the global scientific community.
Currently there are many different styles of Qigong, however, the vast majority have been the result of a "fad" that was generated after the Cultural Revolution China, after some knowledge opened Teachers people by government order seeking an effective and low cost healthcare.
Given the extraordinary results, many people saw the QiGong the opportunity to make money and took to the task of inventing their own systems of Qigong and announce to the world that they were "masters." The result was the "spontaneous generation" of literally thousands of systems around the world QiGong, but of course, mainly in china.com course, many Qigong systems that have no basis and can be trusted even dangerous. In view of this and a political problem that arose with one of them a few years ago the government of China conducted a thorough investigation throughout the country in order to eliminate those practices QiGong that did not have the support and the necessary seriousness.
In 1996, the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China, published a book in which are recognized and permitted only eleven schools of qigong.
One of them was different from all others by its high efficiency, reliability and scientific support: The QiGong Zhineng was recognized, since, as the most respected and recommended practice of its kind.
Designed by a true master, the heir of ancient tradition and a visionary of great scientific concern and generous spirit service. Now considered a living treasure of mankind, Master Pang Ming is the highest authority of QiGong in China, in addition to being recognized as one of the most important medical and scientific in their country.
He has been able to synthesize masterfully QiGong depth and complexity of a new science that has three features that have revolutionized the whole concept that Qigong practice is complicated and requires, in addition to a close surveillance by a master of many years of study to generate significant changes in those who practice it.

The Zhineng QiGong is completely safe, truly effective and really easy.
is the only system used in the largest hospital in the world that works only with energy. This hospital was founded by Master Pang precisely and get every 24 days, over 3000 people from terminally ill patients who are cured, until they develop healthy physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. In it, there are no patients, only students, ie those entering learning how to help themselves, receive the tools and learn to use it.
work focuses on the Person and Qi, not the disease. With sufficient practice, any deficiency or disorder the body responds to treatment regardless of their nature or severity. Just to mention some of the more than 450 conditions treated daily in the clinic with high degrees of success, we mention the following: cancer, cardiovascular disease, sclerosis, arthritis, disabilities, immune system disorders, chronic diseases, glandular problems, depression, and even unknown diseases or could not be diagnosed in conventional hospitals.
For several years, the Hospital Zhineng Qigong has been space for research and study by several of the most renowned scientists of China and various countries in the first world. With the results monitored and studied by them, openly published impressive average figure of 95% efficiency, which has resulted in less than 15 years since its introduction to the public today Zhineng Qigong, has been placed as The most practiced type of QiGong worldwide, over 13 million people worldwide, mostly in East and first world countries have changed their life, now enjoy the benefits and contribute to generating health around him. System Structure

Master Pang Zhineng Qigong structured the six levels, the first of them the main, it is one that contains the essence of the whole system.
Of the six levels, only three have been opened to the public as Laoshi Pang insists that it is much more profitable to achieve a good level of practice in what he has taught to rush to practice more advanced levels.
the first level (called "Peng Qi Guan Ding Fa" which means "Method Up and Pour Qi in the Head") was introduced to the public in the eighties, and he worked a long time. It was only with Peng Qi Guan Ding Fa that the system reached a level of success and prestige for its simplicity and efectividad.Este level is a practice that opens and clears the channels through which Qi flows, and is particularly effective for preventing and curing diseases, working with the system of Qi at all levels and aspects, covering a simple, yet effective, everything that the other five levels covering more detallada.Pang Laoshi repeatedly mentioned that the deep work of the First levels can open the consciousness of the practitioner to the content of the other five.
The second level was taught by Master Pang their advanced students when he felt they were ready. This level is a more directed at the basic structures of mind and body. Is a strong and beautiful work that supports our system of Qi from the marrow of bones, tendons and muscles, to our need to inhabit ourselves.
Years later, under the same guidelines to pass time for an important sector of the community to digest Zhineng Qigong previous levels also opened the third level, which is a job a little more delicate and demanding work, primarily with the bodies and emotions. Are still few people actually practice this level yet in China. Pang
Laoshi emphasizes the fact that it is not necessary to learn more advanced levels of Qigong Zhineng to reach their highest goals. And although he is willing to teach the following levels as tools to help enrich and give variety to work, has decided to allow more time before opening the other three levels. Officially recognized by the government of China as the most respected in practice tipo.Una highly efficient tool to feel better and better. Cleans and strengthens our entire energy system. We
70% and 100% liquid Qi.
Zhineng Qigong is a practical science is a series of mental and physical exercises that move a conscious life force in our body and environment, helping to raise the level of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
is based on thousands of years of research and is now studied by modern scientists from several countries who perform experiments not only in those who practice it, but also in plants, animals and other objects.
In just fifteen years it has been opened in China, has revolutionized the concept of health and has become the most practiced QiGong system worldwide.
The Zhineng Qigong is the heritage, the life work of one of the most developed of our time, a wise teacher, loving and prestigious medical scientist who was given the task of doing something more than "cure" people: Professor Pang Ming forged a true treasure, a master tool that allows us to heal and evolve.

Although there are clinics and practice groups throughout China, the Zhineng headquarters QiGong is the largest hospital in the world that works only with energy and is used only where this system. This hospital, more commonly called "The Center" received between 3000 and 5000 people every 24 days. Here come people from all walks, ages, levels of health, education and social status. The Center's approach is that no patients, but students. People receive the knowledge, tools and gets to work no matter if they are healthy or have a terminal illness.
Despite its extraordinary effectiveness, the Zhineng Qigong is probably the simplest type of QiGong of all, it presents a possibility work for any type of person. Since the most important work is carried out by the mind, can be performed efficiently even for people who can not move your body, and perhaps even better, by people who "DO NOT HAVE TIME" ...
is very important to clarify that Zhineng Qigong is not just for patients, it is increasingly practiced by healthy people, top athletes, artists, scientists, children, engineers and anyone who wants to feel better, be healthier, creative, better concentration, with a clearer mind and enjoy greater vitality.
